I did finish up Lori's SAL this morning except for sewing down the binding. This was a fun one to do and I really like the results!!
Mostly crosshatching and FMQ outlining, but I did add some feathers in the muslin.
I named mine "Saddle Point" for the promontory of the Brady Mountains that we view to our west.
Hope this finds all well for each of you!!
Blessings and Hugs!
Wow that quilt looks unbelievably difficult tome well done. I hate the cold weather!!! Enjoy your week Diane
ReplyDeletePretty quilt D. Your FMQ is awesome !
ReplyDeleteEach time I see one of these with a border, I am wishing I hadn't finished mine up so quickly. I love your border--the whole quilt, for that matter. :)
ReplyDeleteYour feather work is really looking good, my friend!
And I like the name you selected.
Beautiful quilt with beautiful quilting stitches :)
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I am so happy that I did. I'm also a quilter and I so enjoy following other quilters and seeing what they are making. I took a little tour and truly enjoyed the wedding photos . . . you have a lovely family.

P.S. I hope you'll come visit my blog, too :)
Your SAL quilt finished up beautifully! Such a beautiful and inspiring view. Thanks for sharing that picture too.
ReplyDeleteThat border was inspired - it sets off your lovely little quilt so well. Penny
ReplyDeleteI love your wee finish Doniene - and so aptly named too! I guess by now the days have cooled down even more - just as we are heating up - the pump out the runoff broke down yesterday/day before and we had poor animals scrambling for water - broke into the silage paddock to find some :-(
